AREAS COVERED

W: Where are you now?
Our opening module covers everything that’s currently going on in your working life – whether you’re running your own business, being a dedicated employee or juggling several different roles without knowing where to focus your time and energy. By listing everything that your working life currently entails, we’ll discover what’s working well and what might need some attention. What helps you thrive and what’s holding you back.

O: Options
Let’s open up the possibilities, both in the current moment and for the future. What makes you giddy with excitement? What have you always longed to explore? By focusing on your dreams – however wild they may seem right now – we’ll figure out how they can become a reality.

R: Re-evaluate your driving forces
Let’s take the opportunity to evaluate your career to date. What roles have kept you motivated? What positions have failed to retain your attention? Working together, we’ll discover how motivations have shifted since you became a Mum and what fires your ambitions for the future. The previous positions or roles that kept you motivated – where do they sit now? Have they shifted since becoming a Mum? What is firing the ambition in your soul now?

K: Knowledge is key
Do you want that promotion? Do you want to start a new business but are unsure where to start and how best to use your existing skills? Do you need help with finding jobs and the interview process? This module is all about your talent and skills. It’s easy to focus on what you don’t know, but assessing what you’re good will help you thrive in both work and home life. We’ll also identify areas to work on in the future and how your ambitions can come to life through adding new strings to your bow.

I: Identify the balance
To achieve a happy work/life equilibrium, there may be some trade-offs that you need to make – this is normal and accepting this as a reality will help you decide where your priorities lie. I want you to break down the steps you need to take to get to where you want to be. You can have it all, but you must determine what’s important and what you may have to sacrifice, willingly, to achieve your dreams. Here, we’ll look at family life as well as business, leaving no stone unturned as you work towards achieving your goals.

N: Nothing is impossible
Now you’ve got your priorities in order, let’s start taking steps forward. I’m going to push you out of your comfort zone and challenge you to thrive, not just survive.

G: Growth for you and others
How can you invest in yourself beyond this course? In this module, we’ll start future-proofing your plans by developing the tools to propel you beyond the end of this course. It’s also time to share your wisdom and grow others. Do you need to make new connections to go with your new life? Who will you take with you, and who might be holding you back?

M: Money talks, know your worth
In this module, we’ll explore what you need to be earning at the moment and how you see your financial future unfolding. Assessing your financial needs, from essentials like mortgage payments to additional spending like gym memberships will help you make decisions about what’s important to you and your family

U: Unstoppable
Now we’ve gone through all of the stages, I want you to focus on the one key dream that is within reach. Together, we’ll plan your steps over the next three weeks, three months and three years to make this a reality – breaking it down into small, actionable steps.

M: Moving forward
It’s time to reflect on what you’ve learnt and how you can keep applying this through life’s twists and turns. Discover and learn to use the vital tools to make decisions with confidence, so as the next challenge or opportunity presents itself, you can assess what’s right for you and your family.

For me, being a mother made me a better professional, because coming home every night to my girls reminded me what I was working for. And being a professional made me a better mother, because by pursuing my dreams, I was modelling for my girls how to pursue their dreams.
